These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Elevated Arguments (“we,” “us,” or the “Site”), operating at elevatedarguments.com. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
The Site publishes the strongest case on each side of major political topics, alongside the sources a religious or philosophical tradition brings to the same questions, and lets readers submit arguments of their own and propose sources for a lens. Rating is off: there is no way to vote on a contribution, nothing is ranked by popularity, and every submission is read by a person before it publishes. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Site. Accounts are verified by a one-time code sent to your mobile number, and are limited to one account per person. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Providing false information — including a phone number you do not control — is prohibited.
By providing your mobile number and requesting a sign-in code, you consent to receive an SMS one-time verification code from Elevated Arguments at that number.
How we handle your mobile number is described in our Privacy Policy, including our commitment that mobile information and SMS opt-in data are never shared with third parties for marketing.
You retain ownership of what you submit — arguments and proposed lens sources alike — but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute it on the Site. You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, contains slurs or dehumanizing language about any group, doxxes any person, or is spam. We may screen, remove, quarantine, or refuse any submission at our discretion. Reader arguments are their authors' own and do not represent the views of the Site.
You agree not to operate more than one account, submit by automated means, or otherwise attempt to influence what publishes other than by making a better argument. You agree not to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Site, or use it to violate any law or the rights of others.
The Site's editorial content, design, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable law. You may not copy or redistribute them except as permitted by these Terms or by law.
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Political content is presented for discussion and does not constitute professional, legal, or voting advice. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Site.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for conduct that violates these Terms. You may stop using the Site and request account deletion at any time.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
